Additives
Additives are substances that are used in the manufacture of products. These additives are added to specifically influence certain properties of the product. These properties may be involved, for example:
- Color
- Ageing resistance
- Workability
- Elasticity
Additives are characterized by the fact that they only make up a small proportion of the amount of material used in the product. This distinguishes them from fillers, which can take up a significantly higher volume.
