#1 Definition Approval BAM
#2 Significance of the approval according to BAM
In sealing technology, BAM approval plays an important role, particularly in the field of oxygen systems. Seals for use in such systems must comply with Code of Practice M 034 of the German Employers’ Liability Insurance Association for the Chemical Industry (RCI). The focus here is on the ageing of the material in oxygen and the ignition temperature.
BAM issues the corresponding test certificate on application.
