They pose a risk of injury to people handling the product.  <\/p>\n<p>They can also damage other components and thus impair the function of the product. For example, burrs generate increased friction, which causes seals to wear more quickly.  <\/p>\n<p>The removal of burrs (deburring) is therefore part of standard post-processing after many manufacturing processes. Burrs are created during shaping processes such as:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Turning<\/li>\n<li>Milling<\/li>\n<li>Pouring<\/li>\n<li>Presses<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Burrs can be removed by many mechanical processes. These include grinding, milling and vibratory grinding, for example. A defined chamfer or radius is often aimed for.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section
