It is also known as compression molding. The functional principle is that a molding compound is inserted into the cavities of the mold.  <\/p>\n<p>The mold is then closed, using heat as well as pressure. After the cooling process, the workpieces can be removed. They have now assumed the shape specified in the tool.  <\/p>\n<p>The molding compound for molding usually consists of semi-finished products that have already undergone shaping production steps such as extrusion.
