the field of elastomers (NBR, EPDM, FKM, etc.), the Shore hardness can be between 5 and 100 Shore.  <span style=\"color: var( --e-global-color-text );\">However, only the 40 to 90 Shore range is of interest for the manufacture of O-rings.  <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: var( --e-global-color-text );\"><b>Note:<\/b> The tolerance specification for Shore hardness is \u00b1 5 Shore.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: var( --e-global-color-text );\">Each O-ring material has a standard hardness. However, it must be noted that the tolerance is \u00b1 5 Shore. It is only important to know that 60 Shore D is approximately 100 Shore A.
